The day I walked the Chartres Labyrinth

The day I walked the Chartres Labyrinth

I was recently in Sedona, Arizona for an extended weekend. The reason for the trip? A Conference filled with other amazing goddesses to learn about Mary Magdalene. Our days were filled with lectures, activities, laughter and hugs. Not to mention a glass of wine or two to celebrate Love.

One afternoon we went to Angel Valley. This entire area is a portal onto itself and one can feel the energy shift as they approach the property. One of the features of this other worldly location is a replica of the Chartres Labyrinth. For those of you who may be unaware of this power of this labyrinth, indulge me for a short description:

The original Chartres Labyrinth is located in Chartres Cathedral in France. Here is a photo of the original:

As you will notice, or take my word for it, there are eleven circuits that each walks to reach the center. The number 11 has many meanings; one of which represents entering your own divine mastery. Within the center is a Six Petal Rose. Each petal holds the individual energy of Faith, Surrender, Service, Abundance, Forgiveness and Overcoming. A fantastic book that delves into this has been written by Kathleen McGowan and is titled, The Source of Miracles.  I HIGHLY recommend this book. It discusses the Lord's Prayer with such power, one really may never need another prayer. Something I have long argued since a child.

Many replicas of the Chartres Labyrinth have been created with great love throughout the world and I was blessed to visit one this past weekend at Angel Valley. As one enters this labyrinth, or any labyrinth, it is requested that  you place an intention prior to entering. For by going within and walking, you receive answers. Your intentions could be for greater clarity, vast prosperity to support you on your mission, health, etc.

As you walk with focus and open-ness, you are guided to a variety of ways that respond to your request. Some experience profound awakenings while in the labyrinth, others a gentle urging and everything in between. No matter your experience, it is profound.

Below is The Chartres Labyrinth in Angel Valley:

This labyrinth is huge. It is an exercise to not be rushed. One takes their time as they ponder walk. As I walked I did just that; pondered. Desiring better clarity for me personally; who was I? What am I here to do? How may I be of better service?

Answers softly entered. I entered the Rose and within petal I knelt and released and dug deep to not find answers, but to willingly allow the answers to settle there and integrate to BEcome part of me. As I finished the Petals, I was then directed to walk the petals in the center in reverse. No questions; I obeyed. I circled the other goddeses within the center and noticed the energy ran out to all who would walk the labyrinth that day. The energy was directed to each with great love to help them love more aspects of themselves to fully realize their own greatness.

I then walked clock-wise in the center. As I did so, the question again was as to why... 'helping each to obtain the quality of life they desire through their destiny and service.'

Whew.

It was time to reverse the walk of the Chartres Labyrinth and bring this information out. As I did, I was more aware of the others walking. I observed each. The paths within the labyrinth are not wide enough for two to comfortably walk abreast. Some took a wide berth. Others acknowledged the other's presence in the form of gassho (prayer position) and a simple Namaste. Others hugged.

Again I was guided. I continued to walk with arms down and hands open.

As I approached each Goddess, Mary told me what they needed; to allow them peace and love in whatever form. Some passed by without a glance. Some reveled in Namaste. Some hugged fiercely. Within that hug a message of love was relayed upon completion with a deep simple look of the eye. A soul to soul look.

No one form is better than the other.

However Mary Magdalene continued to instruct and educate and remind me of the metaphor this represents of life.

  • Some may pass in your life only briefly. No exchange is needed of any kind.
  • Some may only need a moment of recognition at any level in order to move forward.
  • Some may walk with you.

Each path is perfect for the person. No judgment allowed. Each path is greeted with honor and sent along with love; whether is it is in the physical aspect or energetic. Each path can be filled with great love. Within that love is truth, joy and the essence of BEing.

Below is our beloved walking... yes I am in there as well.

I loved you before.
I love you today.
I will love you again.
The time returns.
