The Art of Allowing

The very word allowing is rather empowering as I recently experienced.

You know the dance; having to do so much on your own and if somebody offers to help you find yourself going in behind them to 'fix it'.

yeaaahhh... me too.

My AHA Event happened a couple of months ago while in Charlotte, NC for the SHIFT Conference. This was the first show that Honey Guy wasn't able to be with me for not only the physical love support but all the Sherpa Duties he carries so well. I had three lovely goddesses all ready to go on the day of, unfortunately all were occupied at check in and unload time for me.

I had the entire day ahead of me, so there was no rushing involved... really! I was being slow and methodical, just like the turtle.

As I was unpacking the car, a young man goes by and says he is a volunteer and can he help me.

'No, I've got it, but thanks!' With a big smile on my face.

'You are a strong woman who isn't used to help. Will you allow me to help you?'

BAM, I did an immediate 180 and said YES, I will allow you to help me. Help he did for the next three hours. 

Allow. So very powerful. For the remainder of the weekend every time I saw him, I pointed him out and shared the story ending with 'I allowed him to help me!' I savored that energy and you know what? It was more powerful and poignant than ever. I relaxed. I let go of the reigns and allowed assistance in with a BIGGER smile and open heart.

What will you allow in your life today? While we are fully aware of lower energies, let's focus on the GREAT energies that are also afoot and allow them to enter into your world to assist, expand, explore, support, comfort, and even periodically wing slap. You can take some weight off your shoulders.

Not all assistance comes from The Gang. Many are disguised as a human as I now fully embrace.
